Bojana Budimir (b. 1982) is an associate professor at the department of Dutch Studies at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. She holds a PhD degree in translation studies and teaches courses on translation theory, terminology, machine translation and post-editing, and translation practice. Additionally, she is an active translator of fiction, nonfiction, and graphic novels. She founded a website dedicated to the Dutch literature in Serbian translation (www.holandskaknjizevnost.com).
Her translations include: The History of My Sexuality (De geschiedenis van mijn seksualiteit) by Tobi Lakmaker (fiction); The Dream Weaver (De dromenwever) by Douwe Draaisma (nonfiction); ‘De eeuwige terugkeer van het fascisme’ by Rob Riemen (nonfiction); ‘The Unseeable and Other Stories’ (Het onzienbare en andere verhalen) by Erik Kriek (graphic novel); The Return of the Honey-Buzzard (De terugkeer van de wespendief) by Aimee de Jongh (graphic novel).
