Novica Petrović graduated from the English Department of the Faculty of Philology of Belgrade University in 1975 and defended his PhD thesis in 2005. Worked as a lecturer in Contemporary English Language, British and American Cultural Studies at the English Department of the Faculty of Philology of Belgrade University (at the level of Basic Academic Studies), from 1994 to 2019. Currently works at Sinergija University (Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Singidunum University (Belgrade), where he teaches British and American Literature and Cultural Studies, as well as translation. Has published translations, books and essays, and is a regular contributor to local literary periodicals and Radio Belgrade’s cultural programmes.
